PUPPET,” this lighting fixture features three adjustable lines that can pivot to direct light onto various wall surfaces, creating a magical, comfortable ambiance. Just like a puppet performing in a show, the fixture’s lines can be adjusted to reflect light differently based on distance, allowing the brightness to be fine-tuned for an ideal atmosphere.
Most of the things we see are illuminated by reflected light, but this is often overlooked. In this project, I designed an adjustable reflection system to help people appreciate how light can be controlled beyond simply turning on a switch. Indirect light can create various atmospheres for different situations, such as dining or napping. The design is kept as simple as possible, encouraging people to focus on the interplay of light and shadow rather than the fixture's shape.
